Mike Suchsland has served on the SurePoint Board since 2018 and has more than two decades of experience leading companies that provide technology services to law firms and the legal community. He currently works with several leading venture capital and private equity funds in the legal technology industry to identify, evaluate and grow companies in the sector. In this interactive session, we discuss the future of generative AI in the legal profession, including where it will be adopted by law firms and where it will not. From there, we'll discuss the specific impact on the legal practice, including how different lawyering skills and capabilities will be required going forward vs. the traditional path of cost-plus and advisory-driven services. That will then lead to a significant discussion for the participants around the impact of these dynamics on law firm profit models, what new measurements need to be put in place, and how risks can be managed in this new environment.

  • Have a clear understanding of how generative AI will not only alter the practice of law, but also the business of law.

A: Yes, your spouse or friend can attend with the purchase of a conference ticket. The conference presentations are open to current ContactEase CRM, Coyote Analytics, Leopard Solutions, and LMS users and anyone interested in learning more about SurePoint's solutions.

 

Q: What should I wear?

A: The attire is business casual. Please note it is important that you wear attire that makes you feel comfortable and enjoy your time at the conference.

 

Q: What is the cost to attend?

A: Cost to attend IGNITE 2024 is $199/person. Early bird discounts are available for reach conference location. Please note you are responsible for paying for your airfare, personal meals outside of the conference, and special events that you attend on your own.

 

Q: Are meals included?

A: There will be set times for breakfast, lunch, and happy hour. You will be able to indicate your dietary restrictions upon registering for the conference.

 

Q: Will there be transportation to and from the airport?

A: Attendees are responsible for their own transportation.

A: We anticipate approximately 100 people at each conference location.

Q: If I arrive early or stay late, does the discounted room rate still apply?

A: Discounted rooms are based upon availability and are subject to change. Contact the hotel directly if you have questions or would like to extend your stay.

 

Q: Can I stay at another hotel?

A: Yes. You may choose to stay at another hotel. However, the discounted rates will only be available for the hotels listed.

 

Q: Will there be virtual options/recordings?

A: IGNITE is an in-person event. The benefit of attending is to have the opportunity to meet with our experts in person, participate in hands-on workshops, and network with members of the community.

 

Q: What if I miss the conference check-in hours?

A: Registration will be open from 7am-10am local time. If you are arriving outside of registration hours, please email community@surepoint.com to arrange badge pickup.

 

 

 

Q: Will you expense meals taken outside of the hotel?

A: No, we will not be reimbursing meals outside of the conference. Meals during the conference will be provided. There will set times for breakfast, lunch, and happy hour.

 

Q: Can I see the menu in advance for dietary restrictions?

A: The registration form will include an area to note any dietary restrictions.

 

Q: Can I attend if I'm not a ContactEase CRM, Coyote Analytics, Leopard Solutions, or LMS client?

A: Yes, the conference is open to current ContactEase CRM, Coyote Analytics, Leopard Solutions, and LMS users and all members of the legal community.

Q: Will you have exhibit booths or other vendors at the event?

A: Yes, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with select sponsors during IGNITE 2024.

 

Q: What if I need to cancel?

A: You can cancel your conference registration by email. You will need to contact the airline and hotel separately to cancel those reservations. IGNITE registration cancellations made prior to 72 hours of the conference date will receive a 100% refund. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 72 hours of the conference date.

 

Q: What precautions will be taken to ensure safety?

A: The safety of our community is our top priority. We will work with the hotels to ensure that safety protocols are in place for all types of circumstances.

 

Q: I'm interested in being a panelist, who can I contact?

A: Please email our team with the following information: your contact information, the topic you would like to present, presentation goals and overview, and anything else you would like to share regarding the presentation.

 

Q: Will any of the sessions count toward continued education credits?

A: At this time, the sessions are not approved for continuing education credits. Please note we will continue to research this as an option.
